His endless enthusiasm and persistent curiosity to learn more and more about Tea, after almost twenty years since his first approach to its history and culture. He joined one of the most iconic British companies in the industry, Fortnum and Mason, where he spent nearly three years, mostly in The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon, first as a Chef de Rang and “Tearista” (Tea Specialist), and then as a Head Tea Sommelier, Tea, Food & Service Training Manager, Hospitality Induction Manager, Maître D’ and Tea & Brand Ambassador. In January 2017 he was certified as a Tea Sommelier by the Course Director Jane Pettigrew. Among the various achievements, during his intense experience and hard work, with full dedication to the Tea Salon, the most remarkable accomplishment was to train and lead the team to win the AFTERNOON TEA AWARDS 2017 for the “Best Tea Service”.
